Ronald V. Hudanich, DO, and the Hudanich Orthopedics® team are very excited to announce that Robert J. Meuret, MD, and Brian K. Vickaryous, MD, both outstanding Central Florida based board-certified Orthopedic Surgery Specialists, are joining us at the Greater Orlando Orthopedic Group, LLC.
Brian K. Vickaryous, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, and has been practicing in a busy trauma and sports medicine clinic in Orlando for the last 13 years.
Prior to this, Dr. Vickaryous served for 12 years as an Officer and Surgeon in the U.S. Army after graduating from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1996. During his service he deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as Commander of the 8th Forward Surgical Team and was the unit surgeon for the 1st Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Dr. Vickaryous is one of the few surgeons in the area that are subspecialty trained and board-certified in Sports Medicine.
Brian Vickaryous, M.D., has been a team physician for several local high school teams, as well as the Orlando Solar Bears Hockey team. Dr. Vickaryous has more experience with shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and lower limb surgery than other specialists in his area, pioneering many of the techniques that get patients back in the game sooner.
Dr. Brian Vickaryous was also one of the first Stryker® Mako™ Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgeons in Central Florida and the United States, having performed joint replacement surgery with the robotic-arm assisted system on the hip and knee since 2011.
